Your pool is a place of relaxation
and enjoyment in which no other thing could offer. It's not about the pool
itself actually but it's the moments that are made in the pool. Anyway, since
this structure is a source of fun and enjoyment, it is only right that we keep
it clean and maintained. So what are we cleaning and maintaining it for? The
reason is for us to protect it from algae, damage and other stuff. Now to
protect it from these things we need to do some things to show our effort in
maintaining and cleaning it.
If we are to maintain the pool, we
must put our back into it. We must also learn the nature of each reason; like
for example why algae do grows on it, or how to remove the foreign objects on
the pool. Now with algae, it's not a result of pool water abnormalities or
whatsoever, not even the result of chemical contamination. Algae are natural
occurrences meaning that it would grow in your pool whether you like it or not
because its nature's design. It is normal for algae to grow on water. The least
that you could do is to clean it regularly, brush the tile walls and stuff. You
could also do some vacuuming and change the filters regularly. But the most
effective way to prevent algae from growing on your pool is to apply chlorine
in your pools water. It's not so dangerous to humans and it could kill or
prevent the growth of single cell organisms. However, if you already have an
infestation of some sort, like a hundred year old pool in your area, it might
not do the job.
To clean the foreign objects on your
pool's surface or on the floor, you need to use a pool net. It's some sort of
net attached to a pole so that you could easily reach those objects floating on
your pool and even those stuff on the pool's floor. To totally clean the pool,
you can drain the water out of it and manually brush the floor and the walls.
That is the only way to perfectly clean it. But of course that would cause a
lot of wasted water but it's the only way to clean it thoroughly. That is if
you wanted it clean, like everyone else. Who wants a dirty pool?
Now that you know the different
ways, means and methods of cleaning your pool and keeping it free from algae,
you should apply it in your daily life. If you have a pool it is a good thing
to know how to clean it because not all the time you can hire somebody to do it.
Learn to do things yourself and you would earn its benefits in the future.
